Moments of Beauty I

Published 01st March 2011 - 2 comments - 4501 views -

To remind us of what we could lose unless we respect our natural environment, I am writing a series of short pieces called Moments of Beauty.

Today, I was driving to work when I was seduced by a stunning view of the Mediterranean Sea basking in the sun under a clear blue sky.

And yesterday, I was captivated by a flowering almond tree with big white blossoms that seem more vibrant after all the rain we had this winter.

Without water, none of these beautiful images would be possible.

My husband said it is the Greek in me...always searching for beauty.

And I think it also applies to every nationality - we must all be aware of the beautiful world we live in and strive to save and conserve this beauty.

Enjoy the moment!

Note: Moments of Beauty is a series of short pieces about what we could lose if we do not take care of our water supply and overall environment. All photos are taken by Sarah Fenwick.
